Most of you know, we have these BBQs yearly and we usually get a good turn out. Last year's was pretty good except Dcevoclub had to pay some of the costs from their own pocket to break even.
I wanted to make this thread a bit early to get a list going. We had a list of over 65 people signed up but unfortunetely not that many showed up. So we are planning to make this year's BBQ a bit different than last year. More details will be posted later. In addition, we will be doing a raffle this year to give away some evo goodies.
Once we set a date and reserve the place, more details will be posted.
OK... how about dates? I was shooting for June, possibly mid-week of June. Any ideas? I will also get a list started now to see at least how many people are planning to attend.

I know some of you junkies have been going into withdrawl fits. However as you can tell the site is back up. For some reason mysql stopped and I am out of town, so I want to thank Joshua for sending me an email to let me know.
The 2009 Mach V Mega Colossal Meet and Charity Car Show will happen on August 1, 2009.
This will be our fourth annual charity event, with proceeds going to benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the National Capital Area. Last year we raised $1600. I'd like to better that this year! Like the last three years, it'll be a car show, with prizes for Best Engine Bay, Best Exterior, and Best of Show, plus a bonus prize for Car We'd Most Like to Own Ourselves.
There'll be a voluntary $10 donation to attend. Registration for the car show will be $25 in advance, $45 the day of the show. See the link below for registration info.
Car show setup will be from 9 am to 10 am, with the event beginning at 10 am and lasting until 4pm. The coveted show trophies will be awarded starting at 4pm.
Other attractions: Super special deals on high-performance parts! Paintless Dent Repair on-site! Other yet-to-be announced craziness!

T-Shirt design contest is underway. Basically anyone can create their version of a MOD shirt and submit it for judging. We have prizes for the top 3 designs. The deadline to get the shirts in is less than 2 weeks away. All the details are at www.modshirts.com. We provide a design template and some sample artwork but there is no limit to what the design should be. This will be sold alongside our regular array of shirts. And as we’ve always done, all the profits will be donated to the DARE program.
MOD09 Facebook event page is up. This is a place to post comments, pics, and get general info on the event. We'll keep it up after MOD09 so people can upload their photos.
After years of trying, In-N-Out is the food provider for MOD09. Just like previous years, every person that comes to MOD in their Mitsubishi gets a meal ticket and goodie bag on us. Only one ticket will be provided per vehicle. Additional ones will be available for purchase. Should be a great lunch!
Van will have their performance team at MOD doing stunts for about 45 mins. They'll have give-a-ways and other stuff.
As you know, every year MOD gets bigger. So if you plan to convoy please arrive early and together. Latecomers will be hard to get parked with your group and no one will be allowed
